Ok, so my 5 tip video is 16 minutes long. The 5 tips are:
Use a gaming mouse to map keyboard shortcuts Understand sidechaining with peak controller vs. Fruity Limiter Use MIDI controller to map keyboard shortcuts Work smart with automation clips: context menu keyboard shortcuts Use Omni/generic link override to map pitch bend/modwheel for third party plugins
The video will show you exactly how to do those things instead of trying to read about them on Image-Line’s website and figure it out that way.
Here is my cover of Tech N9ne’s song Burn it Down (ft. Ryan Bradley). There are no samples from the original song here, it was all painstakingly (but lovingly!) recreated.
As you will read on the YouTube description, I recorded this on a Steinway baby grand piano. 2 mics in stereo placed on opposite sides of the soundboard, and a room mic gave me a really nice recording. Here’s the link!
Explicit language warning. This is my cover of Yelawolf’s song Hustle ft. Paul Wall. I produced it all in FL Studio with some original spoken word stuff during Yela’s verse.
This song is probably not going on Spotify like most of my other ones… You could say it’s Gone With the Wind? Ok ok, that’s a stretch I admit. You can also hear it on Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/sax-flyer/gone-with
