As per the title, this short clip is from a film called “The Mime” that I found on YouTube. It was my first attempt at doing something like this and I hope to gain more experience doing it. I basically took the video from YouTube, then I watched the first minute or so with no sound whatsoever. I made sure to limit my exposure to the original sound design so I could create something completely original. I did have to listen to it with sound once to get the dialogue right, but then I just watched it while composing ideas after that. Check it out here:
If anybody’s interested in getting a full run-down on how I did this, or if you’d like to work with me on your own projects, you can contact me.
I suppose this song was something of an inevitibility. I love a good bass-heavy trap song now and again so here’s my latest shot at it.
Here’s a song I completed a few weeks ago but I didn’t give an update for it here. I also published a YouTube video on it, using pictures from a recent trip to Dinant, Belgium as the music video. As always, let me know what you think!
I wrote this loosely incorporating the Neapolitan chord, which the major chord placed a minor 2nd above the root chord in music theory.
Hey everybody, here’s a song that’s kind of a departure from what I’ve done in the past, but I heard the sound of a snap under an atmosphere of Halon from this video and I just had to make a whole song on the concept. Let me know what you think!
